2015 International Conference on Climate Change:
Actions toward a Common Future
The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) has taken place negotiation discussions which requests parties to submit their own Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs) before a new global legally binding climate agreement to be adopted at year-end. Taiwan Legislative Yuan on June 15 just passed the Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction and Management Act. Therefore, Taiwan government is now preparing our own Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC) in coping with the trend. The conference will convene experts from key international organizations and regional countries to share experiences on post-Kyoto progresses and climate change action perspectives.
The Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, R.O.C. (Taiwan) is holding the "2015 International Conference on Climate Change: Actions toward a Common Future ". We sincerely welcome all stakeholders to join with us.
